The soup is entirely organic and is the result of an ecological farming approach and a desire to produce healthy food. Whether in colour, appearance or taste, the Chambord courgette arrives at your table for a tasty meal. The Chambord vegetable gardens are part of a perspective of agricultural renewal with the development of organic, ecological and soil regenerating agriculture. The production of fruit and vegetables is marketed in a short circuit in order to be part of a local dynamic.

THE CHAMBORD VEGETABLE GARDENS
After a successful first phase of the project with the creation of a plot within the Maréchal de Saxe stables (5,000 m²) in 2019, the vegetable gardens are investing in a new five-hectare plot to extend and diversify production. The Chambord vegetable gardens are implemented in an entrepreneurial spirit. They are part of a process of exploiting the riches of the estate. Chambord is developing its natural resources in order to diversify its resources. Within the framework of this permaculture approach, more than forty varieties of vegetables are produced, following a cultivation system that allows increased yields to be obtained on small surfaces and with a minimum of mechanisation. This profitability is made possible by a well thought-out, ergonomic and standardised landscape architecture, combined with low-tech tools and good soil fertility management. Careful attention to every dimension of vegetable and fruit production gives the vegetables exceptional flavours, nutrients, colours and textures. The vegetable gardens received organic certification and the AB label on 4 July 2019.
