Valiant Hearts filmed at Chambord
The new space dedicated to the Second World War is accompanied by the release of the film Coeurs vaillants, directed by Mona Achache and filmed at Chambord during the summer of 2020.
This film tells the story of six Jewish children hidden in Chambord during the summer of 1942 and waiting to cross into the free zone. It is based on the historical context of the castle as a place of exile for works of art from national museums during the Occupation.
Camille Cottin and Swann Arlaud played the two adult leads and a very impressive cast of children completed the team.
Produced by Les Films du Cap, the film will be released on 11 May 2022.
