Aromas:
Light and lively, Romorantin brings together elegance and complexity. An exceptional white wine, it is at once sleek and stylish, with hints of lemon, quince, lime and flowers.
Food and wine pairings:
Chambord white wine is consumed as an apéritif. During a meal, pure varietal Romorantin is ideally matched with seafood.
Terroir:
North-south exposure. The terroir is predominantly sandy, mixed in sub-soil with clay.

Chambord wine
In 1519, François I, King of France, ordered the construction of the Château de Chambord. Vines already existed in Chambord during the Renaissance. The Domaine national de Chambord decided to replant 14 hectares of vines in the Ormetrou area, less than two kilometers from the château, on the site of a former vineyard.
Chambord wines are natural, produced using organic eco-certified methods, with no added sulfites or artificial yeast. They are harvested by hand.
