Deux bécasses jewelry is imagined and designed in the Centre-Val de Loire region, in Tours. They are designed in Mexico, where the brand works with a total of 15 families, each specialized in a particular technique. For the Château de Chambord collection, three families have handcrafted the jewels.
The Chambord seal
Like the fleur-de-lys or the crown of François I, the Chambord seal is a royal symbol.
This “double C” was specially created by the estate from a forest hammer. In fact, this tool had an axe blade on one side for removing pieces of bark, and a sledgehammer engraved with an awl on the other for striking the trunk. This was called “hammering”.
